Susan Shu

Susan Shu is an experienced educator and consultant with expertise in teaching Chinese language and providing exceptional customer service. Since August 2018, Susan has mentored students online at the Global Language Center and has been teaching face-to-face lessons at Diplomatic Language Services since February 2018. Additionally, Susan has worked as a jewelry consultant at Signet since October 2016, focusing on customer needs and service. Prior experience includes roles at Macy's, where Susan supported sales associates and was recognized as the Best Sales Star in December 2015. Earlier teaching positions include serving as a Mandarin instructor at GoEast Language Centers and as an instructor at New Concept Mandarin in Shanghai. Susan holds a Master's degree in Humanities from Hood College and a Bachelor's degree in English from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.
