Ian Rubin has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Ian started their career as a Chief Electrician at Sadler's Wells in 1992 and later became the Lighting Team Leader at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center - Opera House in 1994. In 1996, they worked as a Freelance Lighting Designer before joining NES LED Lighting Ltd in 2001 as the Managing Director. At NES LED Lighting, Ian played a crucial role in the company's growth and expansion into LED lighting projects. In 2016, they joined Philips Lighting as a Systems Architect and Project Developer, working closely with clients to develop solutions that exceed expectations. Currently, Ian is working at Signify as the Head of Project Development, utilizing their expertise to drive opportunities and the business.

Ian Rubin received their MA in Arts Policy & Management from City, University of London in 1996-1997. Prior to that, they studied Technical Theatre - Stage Management at Guildhall School of Music & Drama from 1988 to 1990. Their earlier education includes attending City of London School from 1981 to 1988.
