Ravi Agarwal is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in IoT and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Core Platform for IoT at Signify since June 2021, Ravi previously held significant roles at Philips Lighting as an IoT Architect, and at DataXu as a Principal Software Engineer where Ravi developed a centralized monitoring platform. Prior to that, Ravi worked as a Principal Engineer at Microsoft, leading the transition of data pipelines to Azure cloud, and at Nokia, where responsibilities included building a platform for automating Hadoop jobs. Ravi began the career at Yahoo!, contributing to various roles in the Real Estate team, tackling data processing challenges and web development. Ravi holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
