Tom Robinson

Head of Product at SignOnSite

Tom Robinson started their work experience as an Infrastructure Consultant (DevOps) at FanTees in September 2015. Tom was responsible for infrastructure architecture, provisioning, and AWS integration. Tom also developed Chef Cookbooks and implemented Vagrant setups for developers.

In November 2015, Tom worked as an Emergency Infrastructure & Application Contractor for an anonymous company. Their role involved redeploying a website, hardening infrastructure, and fixing critical application security issues over a weekend.

From August 2015 to November 2015, Tom worked as a Systems Architecture Consultant (DevOps) at Tanda.

In January 2016, Tom joined The University of Queensland as a Systems Architecture Consultant (DevOps/Application). Tom was involved in architecting a batch job system for genomic bioinformatic analysis and also worked as a Postgraduate Economics Tutor from February 2015 to September 2015.

Tom co-founded ModHubCo in November 2014, where they served as the CEO, Founder, and DevOps. The start-up provided version control, risk management, and corporate governance for spreadsheets.

From March 2017 to September 2018, Tom worked as the CEO at Entry 29.

Tom was then hired as the Head of Product at IncoDocs.com from September 2018 to January 2020.

From July 2020 to December 2020, Tom worked as a Product Management Consultant at Volaby.

In February 2020, Tom took on the role of a Stay-at-Home Parent at Toddler Co, focusing on being a full-time and part-time parent.

Finally, Tom joined SignOnSite in February 2021 as the Head of Product.

Tom Robinson's education history includes a Master's Degree in Economics, which they obtained from The University of Queensland between the years 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland from 2006 to 2010. Their high school education was completed at Matthew Flinders Anglican College from 2000 to 2005, where they received a High School degree.
