Julien Guimont has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to software engineering and development.

Julien'smost recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer at Signos, where they joined in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Enzyme, starting as a Technical Advisor in April 2023 and then becoming the Chief Technology Officer in September 2022. As the CTO, Julien built a team of 12 developers and implemented and monitored SOC2 in an agile environment. Julien also served as the Head of Engineering at Enzyme from February 2021 to December 2022, where they built an Event Driven service in Elixir and implemented processes to enhance developer productivity and happiness.

Before joining Enzyme, Julien served as the President and main developer at C-CUBE by Porkepic Solutions from January 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they built, maintained, deployed, and supported the main application, which aimed to help companies in the construction industry improve customer satisfaction and management excellence.

During these positions, they gained expertise in frontend and backend development, UI design, architecture, testing, and implementing various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, ElasticSearch, SAP Mobile, and Backbone.js.

Julien Guimont completed their high school education at Séminaire Saint-François, earning their high school diploma. Julien then pursued higher education at Cégep Sainte-Foy, where they obtained a college degree in applied sciences. Following this, they enrolled at Polytechnique Montréal, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in software engineering, which they completed from 2001 to 2005.
