Shivanshu Raj Shrivastava is a seasoned software engineer and contributor in the observability tooling space, currently serving as a Founding Engineer at SigNoz since April 2024. Shivanshu holds significant experience with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation as an OpenTelemetry Contributor and organizational member since November 2021. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Adyen, focusing on internal observability improvements, and consulting at Tetrate, where work involved open source projects like Istio and Envoy. While at AppDynamics, notable achievements included the development of high-performance log collection and aggregation services, along with contributions to observability enhancements for Java agents. Early experience includes mentoring projects during two Google Summer of Code sessions and engineering a mobile forensic tool, as well as impactful work on a scheduling algorithm at Samsung R&D. Shivanshu completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2020.
