José R. Fernández

José R. Fernández has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. José R. began their career as a Co-op intern at Schering-Plough Research Institute in 2003. In 2007, they worked as a Co-op intern at GlaxoSmithKline. In 2008, they joined Signum Biosciences as a Research Scientist and later became a Senior Research Scientist in 2009. In 2012, they were promoted to the role of Director, Discovery and Evaluation at Signum Biosciences, and in 2014, they became the Director of Research and Development. José R. Fernández has gained valuable experience and expertise throughout their career in research and development in the biosciences industry.

José R. Fernández completed their education in a systematic manner, focusing on the field of science and biotechnology. José R. first attended the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Biotechnology. Following this, they joined Rutgers University from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology.
