Kawal Arora

Kawal Arora has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Architect at DesignMind in 2008. Kawal then became a Senior Developer at Esurance in 2009, where they worked on website redesign. From 2010 to 2011, they returned to DesignMind as a Software Architect, where they presented architecture and migration methodologies to clients. Kawal then worked as a Team Lead at Prosper Marketplace from 2011 to 2013, leading a team of developers and managing key features of the website. In 2014, they joined Tesla Motors as a Technical Lead, responsible for developing a custom scheduling system. Kawal founded Smartefy.com in 2015, focusing on developing an IoT platform for location-based information. Kawal joined Lokaso.in as the CTO in 2017, combining their love for travel and technology. In 2020, they co-founded Pruve Systems, working as the CTO to enable digitalization using an Inclusive Identity Management Platform. In 2018, they co-founded SIGNY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES as the CTO. Most recently, starting in 2022, Kawal is working as the CTO at ShipFinex.

Kawal Arora obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, which was completed from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016.
