Adam J Bird

Adam J Bird is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in signalling design and management within the railway industry. Currently serving as General Manager - Signalling Design at Sigtech Solutions Australia since February 2022, Adam previously held the position of ATP Design Manager at Sydney Trains from March 2017 to February 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of subject matter experts and managing the design standards for ETCS systems. Adam's earlier roles include Technical Specialist and Senior Design Engineer at RailCorp, Principal Signal Design Engineer positions at Scott Wilson and KBR, and experience with Carillion and Atkins, where skills in designing and managing various signalling projects and systems were honed. Adam holds a BTEC HND and various qualifications in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South Cheshire College.
