Gideon Michael David

Gideon Michael David has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Gideon Michael currently works at SigTech as a Product Designer (UX/UI), and has previous roles at the same company as a Senior Designer and Graphic Designer. Prior to SigTech, Gideon worked at their own company, Gideon Michael David, where they served as a User Experience & Visual Designer for luxury boutique hotels, fine dining restaurants, and bespoke brands. Before that, they worked at DCC as the Head Graphic Designer & Creative Team Lead, where they built and led a design team and implemented a design culture. Gideon Michael also worked as a Graphic Designer at DCC and at Massdiscounters t/a Game and Dionwired, where they collaborated with luxury brands and department buyers on designing advertisements and managing print materials. Gideon began their career at Immedia as a Digital Designer, where they completed a digital design internship and collaborated on native app development and responsive web design solutions.

Gideon Michael David's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Wingen Heights Secondary School. Gideon Michael studied Commerce and Business and obtained their Matric Senior Certificate (National Certificate) in December 2007.

Then, from 2009 to 2011, Gideon pursued further education at The Centre for Fine Art, Animation and Design. Gideon Michael earned a Diploma of Education, with a major in Digital Design, Animation, and Fine Art.

In 2020, Gideon enrolled in the UX Design Institute, where they pursued a Higher National Diploma, University Qualification (SCQF Level 8) in User Experience Design. Gideon Michael completed this program in 2021 and also obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the same institution in March 2021.
