Narsimha Muddasani M.D. Fapa

Narsimha Muddasani, MD, FAPA, currently serves as Medical Director at Elevance Health since February 2022 and has been a Child Psychiatrist at Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation since July 2005. Previously, Narsimha was an Attending Psychiatrist at Gateway Regional Medical Center from November 1994 until March 2023 and held a similar role at Alsana from June 2019 to July 2021, focusing on eating disorder clients. Experience also includes providing insurance review for inpatient and residential psychiatric treatment at FOCUS Review from July 2014 to July 2016 and serving as Medical Director of the Gero-Psychiatry unit at BJC HealthCare from January 2003 to August 2008. Narsimha Muddasani completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center (1990-1992) and another MD in the Psychiatry Residency Program at UMKC School of Medicine (1987-1990), following an MBBS degree from Osmania University, Gandhi Medical College (1979-1986).
