Dr. Christoph Hahn

Dr. Christoph Hahn has extensive work experience in research and development, management, marketing, and sales roles in various companies. Dr. Christoph is currently the Head of Research & Development at Sihl Group since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director R&D at Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH from September 2018 to March 2023, where they were responsible for strategic and operational realignment of R&D activities and the commercialization of barrier papers. Before that, they served as the Director R&D at Kermel from April 2015 to August 2018. From April 2010 to March 2014, they were the Director Marketing & Sales at Teijin Aramid bv. Dr. Christoph also held the position of Managing Director and Business Manager at Teijin Aramid GmbH from September 2007 to March 2014, where they achieved significant market share expansion and sales growth. Before that, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at Akzo Nobel Fibers from 1997 to 2000 and as the Head of Laboratory Polymer Analytics at Akzo Nobel Central Research from April 1993 to August 1997.

Dr. Christoph Hahn completed their education at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1987 to 1995. Dr. Christoph obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree (Dr.-Ing.) with a specialization in Chemistry.
