Joost Zegers

Joost Zegers has held a variety of roles in the past decade, beginning in 2012 as a Boardmember for IAESTE Netherlands. Joost then moved on to Morgan Stanley in 2013 as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst, followed by a role as a Private Equity Analyst at Nedvest Capital in 2014. In 2015, they were a Graduate Intern at Big Data Services for SURFsara, and in 2016 they became a Consultant for Purpose+. From 2017 to 2020, Joost Zegers worked at Catawiki, initially as a Data Scientist and then as a Senior Data Scientist. In 2020, they joined OLX Group as a Senior Data Analyst at Tradus.com, and in 2021 they became the Head of Data at Siilo.

Joost Zegers has an extensive education history. Joost obtained an Atheneum from RSG Pantarijn in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. In 2010, they completed a Minor program in Technological Entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Joost then went on to obtain a Pre-master in Mathematical Sciences from Utrecht University in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in the same field in 2013. Joost Zegers then obtained a Pre-master in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2014, followed by a Master's degree in the same field in 2017. In 2020, they obtained a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity.
