Erik de Baedts

Erik de Baedts has a diverse and extensive background in leadership and consultancy focused on international cooperation, waste management, and circular economy initiatives. Currently serving as a Board Member at SIION - Aida Scholen, Special Envoy at Holland Circular Hotspot, and Consultant at FIC - Faith in Cooperation, Erik de Baedts contributes expertise in coalition building and public affairs. Prior roles include General Director of the Carnegie Foundation - Peace Palace and Member of the Advisory Council for the Dutch Association for the United Nations. Erik de Baedts also held positions as Treasurer at The Hague Academy of International Law, Managing Director at NVRD, and President of MUNICIPAL WASTE EUROPE. Erik de Baedts holds an LLM in Law from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and a Postgraduate Degree in Association Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
