Marcos Bogusiak

Marcos Bogusiak has extensive experience in various roles related to business development, mergers and acquisitions, and technology development in the construction industry. Marcos is currently working as the Senior Vice President M&A region Americas at Sika USA since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President M&A region Americas at Sika USA from July 2018 to December 2021. Before joining Sika USA, they worked at Sika Canada as the Vice President Development and Technology from January 2016 to July 2018, and as the Director of Technology from September 2015 to December 2015. Marcos also served as the Business Development Manager Latin America at Sika Brasil S.A. from October 2011 to September 2015.

Earlier in their career, Marcos worked as the Business Unit Director at Mapa Spontex from December 2009 to October 2011, the General Manager Chryso do Brazil at CHRYSO from January 2009 to December 2009, and the Business Development Manager for South American Zone and Business Development Manager Brazil at Parex Group from June 2008 to December 2008 and from May 2005 to May 2008, respectively.

Prior to that, they worked as the Commercial Manager at Lafarge Argamassas from January 1998 to April 2005, and as the Technical Sales Engineer at Cimento Itau from January 1996 to January 1998. Marcos began their career as a Civil Engineer at Blocoplan Construtora e Incorporadora Ltda in March 1995.

Marcos Bogusiak holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Paulista, which they obtained from 1988 to 1994. Marcos then pursued a Pos graduation in Marketing at FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado from 1995 to 1996. In 2004 to 2005, they completed an MBA in General Management at Ibmec. Lastly, in 2012, they attended INSPER to pursue a Valuation Business Course with a focus on M&A.
