Asbjørn Reglund Thorsen

Asbjørn Reglund Thorsen has worked in the IT sector since 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Manager and Developer at the University of Oslo. In 2010, they co-founded Awareness Security. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Information Security Officer and CISO at Unit - Direktoratet for IKT og fellestjenester i høyere utdanning og forskning. Asbjørn Reglund also became Head of Security at Ceres.no in the same year. In 2022, they will become the Chief Information Security Officer at Sikt – Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør.

Asbjørn Reglund Thorsen obtained a Cand. Scient. degree in Informatics from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 1998 and 2005. In 2018, they also obtained an ISO/IEC 27035 Lead Incident Manager certification from PECB Europe.
