Hogne Håskjold

Hogne Håskjold has worked at a variety of companies since 1997. Hogne began their career with a military service role in Forsvaret as a First-Time Service, where they were a truck driver and ammunition handler. In 2002, they moved to Avansit as a System Consultant. In 2003, they began working at NTNU as a Teaching Assistant for IT1901, Learning Assistant for TDT4160, and Scientific Assistant developing web portals with PHP and configuring underlying services and systems on Linux and FreeBSD. In 2006, they became an IT System Engineer at SeaBird Exploration. In 2011, they joined Atmel Norway as a Senior Unix Sysadmin, supporting development environments with SVN, Git and Atlassian Jira, administering RHEL servers, and developing system deployments and architectures for Compute Data Centers. In 2014, they moved to ZEDGE as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. In 2019, they joined Uninett as a System Engineer, and in 2022 they moved to Sikt - Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør as a Senior System Engineer.

Hogne Håskjold obtained their Grunnfag in Historie from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1996 and 1997. Hogne then went on to obtain their Cand. Mag. in Informatikk from the same university between 1998 and 2004. Finally, they obtained their Master in Informatikk - Systemarbeid og MMI from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2004 and 2006.
