Jan Meijer

Jan Meijer is a seasoned professional in international strategy and collaboration within the academic and research sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Sikt since December 2016, Jan engages in various roles, including delegate for the EOSC Association and member of the GÉANT Project Planning Committee. With expertise in project management and governance, Jan leads significant initiatives such as the Cloud Service Concept Development in the GN5-2 project and the Network Governance & Business Model work package in the FIDELIS project. Past positions include senior advisory roles at Uninett and Unit, project management in national programs for cloud and eLearning infrastructures, and leadership in several open-source initiatives like FileSender. Jan's extensive experience is supported by a Bachelor+ degree in Software Engineering from Hanze University.
