Duane Troyer

Duane Troyer is an experienced Vernacular Media Consultant at SIL International, serving since September 2004 with a focus on developing and distributing minority language media to enhance engagement with biblical texts. Troyer has held multiple roles at SIL International, including Vernacular Media Resource Development and Vernacular Media Specialist, emphasizing technology and multimedia production for minority language communities. Additionally, Troyer serves as Lighting Lead for Carolina Outpost, overseeing lighting for a men's retreat. A long-time member of Wycliffe Bible Translators, Troyer contributes to efforts ensuring global access to God's Word. Past roles include Director of Technical Services and Language Surveyor at SIL Cameroon, and Electrical Engineer at CB&I, following a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
