John Hatton is an experienced software developer and project manager with a career spanning over three decades. At SIL International since January 1996, John has served as Bloom Project Manager and Senior Software Developer, as well as Senior Software Engineer and Program Manager. Prior to this role, John worked at Apple from 1992 to 1996, where contributions included developing information retrieval and summarization prototypes that resulted in three patents, and creating the Spotlight performance test system. John holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, obtained in 1995.
