Mary Pearce

Mary is the SIL International Linguistics Coordinator. She earned a BSc in Mathematics, a postgraduate teaching certificate, a Higher Diploma in Cross Cultural and Biblical Studies, an Advanced MA in Phonology and in 2007, a Phd in Linguistics (Phonology). She began her career as a secondary school mathematics teacher, then joined SIL and has served as a linguist/translator, a linguistics consultant and a linguistics coordinator in SIL Chad and SIL Africa. Since 2016, she has served on the SIL Board.
