Alec Ho is an Application Development Engineer specializing in electrochemistry at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Alec completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley from August 2018 to July 2023, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a materials track from Caltech from 2014 to 2018. Experience includes research at the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis, where Alec focused on developing a hybrid vanadium-redox flow battery and designing solar concentrators, as well as internships at PARC, a Xerox Company, and earlier involvement as a SURF Fellow at the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis, emphasizing advancements in solar-to-hydrogen efficiency.
