Marco Fonseca

Marco Fonseca is an experienced professional in application security and software engineering, currently serving as the Application Security Lead/Secure SDLC Lead at SILAC Insurance Company and Smash Costa Rica since August 2022. Previously, Marco worked as a Cyber Security Software Engineer at Equifax, contributing to the Secure Software Engineering team, and as a Software Developer at Experian, where leadership and technical mentoring were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes roles at Intel Corporation focused on information security, finance batch support, and software provisioning, as well as an IT support position at Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. Marco holds a Licentiate degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Estatal a Distancia Costa Rica and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica.
