John K. Moriarty

John K. Moriarty, also known as Jack, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in integrated circuit design spanning several decades. Currently self-employed since March 2024, John has held the position of Principal Design Engineer at Silanna Semiconductor since June 2021 and previously at Intersil until its acquisition by Renesas in June 2021. Prior roles include Principal IC Design Engineer positions at Semtech and Triad Semiconductor, as well as a Senior Member of Technical Staff role at Zarlink, Inc. John started the career at Bell Laboratories as a Member of Technical Staff after completing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Virginia Tech.
