Matt W. has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Matt began their career in 1998 as a System Support Officer at Trafford MBC, where they monitored and managed server infrastructure and provided 3rd line escalated technical support. Matt then moved to System Support Engineer in the same company, where they managed server infrastructure and quota management. Matt also worked as a Mainframe Operator (IBM OS/390) at Trafford MBC, where they were responsible for mainframe backup, disaster recovery, procedures and documentation. In 2012, Matt W. joined Swinton Group as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, where they worked on projects and implementations of new systems, on premise and cloud based, as well as migrations, acquisitions and moves. Matt also worked with Hyper-V 08-2012, VMWARE, XenApp 5. In 2016, Matt W. joined UnionBiz as a 事務職員, where they worked on WordPress web page design and content management, as well as installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of plugins for homepage. Finally, in 2019, Matt W. joined Silent Breach as a Security & Infrastructure Support Specialist, where they responded to incidents and alerts affecting centrally managed systems. Matt also stayed current on security industry trends, attack techniques, mitigation techniques, security technologies and new and evolving threats to the organization by attending conferences and networking with peers.

Matt W. began their educational journey in 1990 when they attended Fred Longworth High School until 1995. Matt then went on to pursue a GNVQ Advanced ICT in IT & Business at Wigan and Leigh college from 1996 to 1998. In 2005, Matt W. enrolled at The Open University to pursue a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, which they completed in 2009.
