Marek Sitarski

Marek Sitarski has a solid work experience in various roles. Marek started working at Geod S.C. Zakład Usług Geodezyjnych Krzysztof Otrzonsek Krzysztof Salczyński as a Surveyor's Assistant in July 2012. Marek then worked at Usługi Geodezyjne Bartłomiej Witczak as a Surveyor's Assistant from June to October 2014. Marek joined the Wroclaw Institute of Spatial Information and Artificial Intelligence as a GIS Intern in June 2015. Marek later became a GIS Specialist from November 2015 to May 2016, and then a GIS Project Manager/GIS Developer from May 2016 to January 2019. In March 2017, they briefly worked as a GIS Python Developer at Geopartner. Marek then transitioned to BIK SERWIS Sp. z o.o. in November 2019, where they started as a Junior Java Developer (Full Stack) until October 2020. Marek was then promoted to a Java Developer (Full Stack) role from November 2020 to March 2021. Currently, Marek is working at Silent Eight as a Java Developer starting from April 2021.

Marek Sitarski's education history begins in 2010 when they started their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Geodesy and Cartography at Gdańsk University of Technology. Marek completed this degree in 2014. During the same year, Marek also pursued postgraduate studies in GIS (Geographical Information Systems) at Uniwersytet Gdański, where they obtained a GIS Analyst degree.

In 2014, Marek continued their education at Gdańsk University of Technology and pursued a Master of Science degree in Transport, which they completed in 2015.

Moving forward to 2019, Marek attended infoShare Academy and obtained a Junior Java Developer degree, focusing on JAVA.

In terms of additional certifications, in May 2019, Marek completed the Udemy Spring&Hibernate for Beginners course, which included Spring Boot, and in August 2019, they obtained the First B2 (FCE) certification from Cambridge Assessment English. Additionally, in March 2020, Marek completed the Full Stack: Angular and Spring Boot course from Udemy. Marek also received a participation certificate in #IDEAHACK from Venture Café Warsaw in April 2020.
