Tamlyn Wright

Tamlyn Wright is a seasoned production professional with extensive experience in design and production across various entertainment sectors. As a Partner, Producer, and Production Designer at Silent House Productions since 2014, Tamlyn has contributed to a full-service production company established in 2010. Prior experience includes co-founding Entertainment Industry Response in 2020 to address COVID-19 challenges in the industry, and working as a Production Designer for Viacom from 2000 to 2015 for notable events such as the MTV Video Music Awards. Tamlyn operated DesignWright, Inc. as Production Designer and Owner from 2005 to 2014, and served as adjunct faculty in Set Design at California Institute of the Arts in 2014. Additional roles include Associate Scenic Designer for Cirque du Soleil, freelance projects for Universal Studios, and Art Director for the Academy Awards during multiple years. Tamlyn holds an MFA in Scenic and Costume Design for Theatre from California Institute of the Arts and a BA in Theatre and Geology from Texas Wesleyan University.
