Francesco Giuffrida

Francesco Giuffrida has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the yacht design and engineering field. Francesco is currently working as a Design Engineer at Silent-Yachts since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pascoe International from February 2019 to July 2020, where they served as a Designer and lead designer for specific boats' production and design. Their responsibilities included developing designs, overseeing production, and conceptualizing custom items.

From September 2016 to February 2019, Francesco worked as a Yacht Designer and Engineer at Victory Design Srl, where they utilized design and 3D modeling software to create mechanical components, architectural elements, and exterior and interior furniture. Francesco also designed military naval components for the Italian Navy and handled ga plan and engine room arrangement, systems design, and structure calculations.

Francesco's experience in yacht design and engineering further includes their role as a Yacht Designer and Mechanical Engineer at Cabes Yacht from February 2016 to September 2016. Here, they were responsible for designing a 21m yacht, including complete piping, custom mechanical gadgets, HVAC design, and coordination with suppliers and shipyards.

Additionally, Francesco has prior experience as a Project Manager Assistant at Rossinavi from September 2015 to February 2016, and as an intern at the University of Naples Federico II from February 2014 to October 2014. Francesco also worked as an Academic Tutor at Eurolaurea from May 2013 to April 2014.

Francesco Giuffrida's education history begins with their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, which they obtained from 2004 to 2009. Francesco then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics, and Astronautics from the same university, completing it between 2010 and 2014. In 2015 and 2016, Francesco attended Politecnico di Milano, where they participated in the Corso di Master Universitario di 2° livello-CMU2 program and specialized in Yacht Design.

In addition to their formal education, Francesco Giuffrida has obtained several certifications. Francesco acquired the "Laurea triennale in ingegneria aerospaziale" (Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering) from the University of Naples Federico II in March 2009. Later, in October 2014, they achieved the "Laurea specialistica in ingegneria aerospaziale e astronautica" (Master's degree in Aerospace and Astronautical Engineering) from the same university. Furthermore, Francesco earned the "Pegasus Certificate" from Pegasus in October 2014. Additionally, they obtained the "Learning Personal Branding" certification from LinkedIn in October 2020. Lastly, in June 2002, they completed the "Trinity College - Level 7" certification through Trinity College Dublin.
