Yochai Edlitz

Yochai Edlitz began their career in 2001 as a Physicist at the Elite Technology Unit of the IDF. In 2006, they joined Freescale Semiconductor as a Quality and Reliability Engineer. In 2007, they became the Physics Team Leader at Silentium. From 2009 to 2015, Yochai worked at HP, where they held the roles of Program Manager and Technology Leader, as well as Team Leader at R&D. From 2015 to 2017, they were the R&D Printing Process Section Manager at Nano Dimension. During this time, they led a team of researchers, physicists, engineers, integrators, and students in the field of 3D printing process and ink delivery system. From 2017 to 2018, Yochai worked at the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Ph.D Student in Data Science and Machine Learning, as well as a Machine Learning Researcher. In 2022, they joined Assuta Medical Centers as the Chief Technology of Assuta Ashdod's "distant medical treatment sandbox" project.

Yochai Edlitz began their educational journey at Bar-Ilan University where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics and Computer sciences from 1998 to 2001. Yochai then moved on to Tel Aviv University where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics electro-optics from 2003 to 2008. Currently, they are pursuing a Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence at the Weizmann Institute of Science, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022.
