Kevin Osborn

Kevin Osborn has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Kevin currently holds the position of Director of Product Engineering at Silgan Closures, where they began in September 2022. Prior to this role, Kevin served as a Project Manager for New Products at the same company from April 2017 to September 2022.

Kevin also has a background in package engineering and product development. Kevin worked as the Director of Package Engineering at Heartland Food Products Group from December 2013 to March 2017. Before that, Kevin held the position of Director of Product Development - North & South America at CSI Closure System International for over 20 years, from February 1992 to December 2013.

In addition to their engineering roles, Kevin also served as a Volunteer Judge Advisor for FIRST, a nonprofit organization promoting STEM education through robotics programs. In this role, they led the judging and awards process at competitions in Indiana starting from August 2010.

Early in their career, Kevin worked as a Project Manager at Alcoa CSI from 1996 to 2003 and as a Mfg. Engineer at Cummins from 1987 to 1990.

Kevin Osborn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech from 1982 to 1987. Kevin then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University from 1990 to 1992. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Antioch University Seattle.
