Pankaj Ghildiyal, Ph.D.

Pankaj Ghildiyal, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various research and teaching roles. Pankaj is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at SiLi-ion Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside from 2019 to 2022, where they focused on developing aerosol and laser-assisted processes for the synthesis and structural modification of nanostructured materials. Pankaj also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, they have experience as a Chemistry Teacher at Heritage Valley - The Indian School, where they taught high school chemistry and designed experiments and activities to enhance student learning. Pankaj has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Hyderabad and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National Centre for Biological Sciences and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

Pankaj Ghildiyal, Ph.D. pursued their education in a sequential manner, focusing primarily on Chemistry. Pankaj began their academic journey at St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 2011 and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 2014. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Hyderabad for higher studies and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry by 2016. Pankaj continued their education by joining the University of Maryland in 2017, where they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry in 2022.
