Preston Fick

Preston Fick has extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Silicon Labs since 2003, overseeing the Cloud Software Team with a focus on security products. Fick has progressed through various roles at Silicon Labs, including Software Engineering Manager for multiple teams focusing on cloud software development, IoT solutions, and Silicon identity and security. Prior to joining Silicon Labs, Fick worked as a Software Engineer at Cygnal Integrated Products and MapFrame, specializing in MCU tools and GIS mapping software. Fick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 1999 and 2003.
