Jerrod Moll

Jerrod Moll has extensive work experience in the utility planning and transmission planning fields. Jerrod currently holds the position of Senior Principal Engineer - Utility Planning at Silicon Ranch Corporation, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Engineer - Utility Planning at the same company from November 2021 to April 2023.

Jerrod also worked at Southern Power as a Project Manager - Transmission & Markets from September 2021 to November 2021. Jerrod spent a significant portion of their career at Southern Company, where they held the role of Principal Engineer - Transmission Planning from January 2011 to September 2021.

Jerrod's early experience includes working at Alabama Power Company as an Operations Engineer & Power System Coordinator at the Alabama Control Center (Transmission) from May 2007 to January 2011, and as a Substation Engineer - Substation Integration & Automation from May 2002 to May 2007.

Jerrod Moll obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) degree with a focus in Computer Engineering from Auburn University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Jerrod then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2003 to 2005. In 2011, Jerrod obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
