Junichi Yanagihara

Junichi Yanagihara is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the entertainment and gaming industries. Currently serving as Executive Director at Silicon Studio and Executive Producer at Ignis Imageworks since January 2022, Junichi has previously held significant leadership roles, including COO/Executive Producer at Sprite Animation Studios from 2002 to 2021, and Executive Vice President at Square USA from 1995 to 2002. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at Square Enix (formerly Square Soft, Inc.) from 1990 to 1995 and Associate at Perkins Coie from 1988 to 1990. Junichi holds an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a BA from Chuo University, and further education from the University of Oregon.
