Sammuel Washington

Sammuel Washington has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology solutions. Sammuel is currently working as a CISO Team SSDLC Advisor at HP since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President of the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce starting from July 2018. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at MPSPG as a Strategy Principal in Technology and Security Solutions, where they were responsible for various tasks such as cyber platform and security solutions strategy, systems/applications/data processing environment mapping, and global IT services enhancement. Sammuel also worked as a Consultant for the County of Santa Clara, focusing on cybersecurity, data utilization, and enterprise solutions management from May 2019 to November 2020. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Product Development Security Program Consultant for Fresenius Medical Care North America / MPSPG. Sammuel gained experience as an InfoSec Security Services & Solutions Consultant at Cisco / KForce from July 2015 to June 2018. Lastly, they served as an Enterprise Strategic Security Advisor for the County of San Joaquin in Stockton, CA from August 2015 to August 2016.

Sammuel Washington has completed various educational programs and certifications in different fields. Sammuel has a Certificate in Scrum@Scale Practitioner from Scrum At Scale. Sammuel also holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, they have a Certification in Program/Project Management from the Northrop Grumman PM1 Training Program. Before these certifications, Sammuel Washington obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus on Comparative Government from the University of California, Davis. Prior to that, they attended The University of Kansas for Aerospace Engineering. Sammuel completed their high school education at Sumner Academy of Arts & Science.
