Jessica Lazar is currently a Philanthropy Advisor at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Jessica has previous experience working as a Program Officer at the Sobrato Family Foundation and as a Program Manager at Playworks.

Lazar has been working in philanthropy for over 10 years. In their current role, they lead strategy development, program design and implementation of the Foundation’s Pathways For Success social impact program focused on economic mobility for low-income individuals and families. This includes all aspects of the grantmaking process, including grantee cultivation, proposal review, funding recommendations, and impact evaluation for the Pathways for Success portfolio.

During their tenure at the Sobrato Family Foundation, Jessica also held responsibility for implementation of the foundation's long-standing general operating support program (now Essential Human Services), as well as contributed to the strategy development and implementation of social impact programs in K-12 education and college completion.

Jessica Lazar completed a Bachelor of Arts in Jessica'story at [Santa Clara University before going on to complete a Master's in Nonprofit Administration at the University of San Francisco.

Jessica Lazar reports to Kimberly Myers Hewlett, SVP, Donor Engagement. They are on a team with Mia Garcia - Philanthropy Advisor, Rocky Gerosa - Donor Services Associate, Engagement, and Adriel Sarpolio - Donor Services Associate, Engagement.
