Sangeeta Nandi

Sangeeta Nandi, PhD, serves as a Philanthropy Advisor at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation since January 2023. Previously, Sangeeta held the position of Associate Director of Institutional Giving at KIPP Public Schools Northern California from October 2021 to December 2022, where institutional fundraising and relationship stewardship were key responsibilities. Sangeeta's background includes significant roles at the Global Fund for Women, focusing on philanthropic partnerships and grants management, and as a consultant for various organizations including the World Bank and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Sangeeta earned a PhD in Development and Environmental Economics from the University of Mumbai and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai. Sangeeta's extensive experience spans strategic development, policy analysis, and program management within the social sector.
