Connor Schmitt

Connor Schmitt is currently a Senior Project Engineer at Silicon Valley Mechanical. Connor has previous experience working as an Intern at Manufacturing Solutions International where they overhauled workflow schematics for a Clorox consumer goods production room, decreasing the required number of line workers by 20%. Connor also assisted quality control supervisors in compiling daily throughput reports. Connor has also worked as a Systems Analyst at Bavarian Computer Works where they reengineered system workflow of a mass book scanning system to maximize efficiency. Connor also gained proficiency with the first installation in the United States of automated book scanners from Treventus Mechatronics and developed training manuals for operators. Connor's first internship was at Stephen Potters Architects where they completed a five month full time internship as a designer and draftsperson. Connor participated in design discussion, drafted full sets of architectural drawings for a variety of projects, and completed site visits. Connor gained 450+ hours of AutoCAD experience.
