Karl Krantz

Karl Krantz is an experienced professional in the virtual reality and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Product Strategy and User Experience at ViRo Playspace since January 2020. As the Founder of Silicon Valley Virtual Reality, initiated in April 2013, Karl has successfully grown the SVVR Conference & Expo into the world's largest professional conference for the virtual reality industry. Additionally, Karl has worked as an Emerging Technology Consultant at PresenceWorks since July 2012, advising businesses and investors on opportunities in consumer virtual reality. Previous roles include Founder of The Startup Daily / Startup Bookclub, Director of Teliris Telepresence Research Labs from 2000 to 2011, and Video Network Engineer at Viaplex Communications.
