Abdelrahman Ahmed Mahmoud

Abdelrahman Ahmed Mahmoud is a Standard Digital Design Engineer at Si-Vision since August 2022. Prior to this, Abdelrahman worked as a Junior Digital Design Engineer at Siemens EDA (Siemens Digital Industries Software) from September 2021 to July 2022. Abdelrahman completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and electrical Communication Engineering from Cairo University in 2022. Abdelrahman's Graduation Project focused on implementing and optimizing hardware acceleration for a deep learning CNN model used in Image Classification on FPGA, aiming for high-speed real-time application with reasonable power consumption. The project involved utilizing High Level Synthesis using Vivado HLS tool and RTL implementation using Verilog, with a subsequent comparison between the two approaches.
