Ana Karen Ortega Perez is a Microseismic Geophysicist at Silixa since October 2022, previously serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2019 to September 2022. During the same period, Ana Karen was also a Research Assistant for the Microseismic Industry Consortium. Additional experience includes a role as a Technical Researcher at REDEVELOP and as an English Teacher at HARMON HALL. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geophysics, specializing in Microseismicity and DAS from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco. Prior to obtaining the master's degree, Ana Karen held undergraduate research assistant positions at both the University of Alberta and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
