Zin Bekkali is the CEO & CIO of Silk Invest since 2008. Previously, Zin worked at Fortis Investments from 2004 to 2008 as the Head of Business Development & Processes. Prior to that, Zin was a Consultant at Bain in 2003 and held various roles at ING Investment Management from 1999 to 2003. Zin holds an EMBA from London Business School, a CFA in Finance from AIMR, and studied at the University of Amsterdam from 1995 to 1999.

At that time, emerging and frontier markets were the most attractive investment opportunities. Silk Invest is regulated by the UK FCA and registered with the US SEC. The firm has been a signatory to the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investing since 2009 and integrates responsibility principles in all our investments.
