Abbas Ali Chaudhry

Abbas Ali Chaudhry is the Area Manager Islamic Banking at Silkbank Limited, part of the launch team for Islamic banking at the bank. Abbas holds the major Islamic banking share of deposits and advances, with a total deposit base of over 5 billion. Abbas also achieved the highest profits for Silk Bank and introduced a current account base of over 1 billion, the highest in the Islamabad Rawalpindi area. Abbas has extensive experience in the banking sector, having also worked at Dubai Islamic Bank in various managerial roles. Prior to that, Abbas served as an Assistant Manager HR at the National Database & Registration Authority. Abbas holds an MBA in HR from Preston University.
