Claus Christensen

CFO at Silkeborg IF

Claus Christensen is the CFO of Silkeborg IF, a position they have held since 2013. Prior to that, they were with UEFA for two years, and before that they worked for Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) for four years.

Christensen began their career in the financial sector, working for Danske Bank in Silkeborg. Claus then moved on to work for Superligaen A/S, before taking on the role of CFO for K/S Papirfabrikken. In 2001, they became the CEO of Investeringsselskabet af 21. december 2001 A/S, and then the CEO of Komplementarselskabet Papirfabrikken ApS.

In 2013, Christensen returned to Silkeborg IF, where they are currently responsible for the club's financial affairs. Under their leadership, the club has enjoyed a period of sustained success, both on and off the pitch.

Claus Christensen attended EDP - Kjeruld & Partnere A/S, a school for business and economics. Claus then went on to study at Handelshøjskolen in Herning, where they specialized in business. After that, they attended Silkeborg Handelsskole, where they studied business and economics. Finally, they attended Nordre Skole in Silkeborg.

Claus Christensen reports to Kent Madsen, CEO.
