Katrine Wichmann

Katrine Wichmann is an experienced professional in the fields of sports and community development, currently serving as an Idræts- og fritidskonsulent and Udviklingskonsulent at Silkeborg Kommune since March 2020, focusing on supporting and developing local associations and sports facilities. Previously, Katrine worked as a gymnasielærer at Tårnby Gymnasium & HF from 2012 to 2019, delivering lessons in sports and media studies while also engaging in various educational initiatives and collaborations with local sports associations. Prior roles include the ForeningsGuide-koordinator for a project aimed at integrating children and youth into community sports in collaboration with Københavns Kommune and Dansk Flygtningehjælp, and undertaking internships with Global Education through Sport, showcasing a commitment to sports development in underprivileged areas.
