Mariam Vashakidze is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of the Legal Department at Silknet since September 2022, having also held roles as Acting Head of Legal Department and Legal Consultant within the same organization. Prior to joining Silknet, Mariam was a Senior Associate at Dentons from January 2018 to August 2022 and at Business Legal Bureau from February 2013 to January 2018. Earlier experience includes a Legal Advisor position at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and a Protection Field Officer role with the International Committee of the Red Cross. Mariam has also contributed to academia as an Invited Lecturer at both Georgian Technical University and Tbilisi National University "Metekhi." Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from King's College London and both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Law from Tbilisi State University.
