Otar Melia

Otar Melia serves as Deputy CIO at Silknet since 2018, where involvement began during the acquisition of GeoCell, focusing on IT Transformation projects aimed at unifying BSS/OSS and reporting systems. Currently active as a Talent at Toptal, Otar previously worked as a Data Engineer for Savings United GmbH and shared expertise as a Lecturer in Relational Databases at the Free University of Tbilisi. Otar's extensive experience includes serving as Project Manager at JSC Alliance Group Holding, Deputy CIO at MagtiCom, and IT Manager at both OSCE and Jsc EaBank, alongside holding the position of Head of Software Development at Bank of Georgia. Otar possesses a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from Tbilisi State University.
