Daniel J. Harris is Of Counsel to the Sills Cummis & Gross Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group. Mr. Harris focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and distressed situations. With significant experience in large, complex Chapter 11 cases, he develops innovative and practical solutions to protect his clients’ interests.

Mr. Harris regularly represents debtors, creditors’ committees, noteholders, trade creditors, strategic investors and other parties in interest in all aspects of Chapter 11 cases. He has represented public and private companies in Chapter 11 cases in a variety of industries, including healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, technology, media, energy and others. He also represents liquidating trustees and other stakeholders in connection with claims reconciliation processes and the pursuit of strategic litigation.

Beyond his restructuring practice, Mr. Harris represents investors and strategic parties in connection with general business matters, entrepreneurial endeavors, claims trading and investment transactions.
