James M. Hirschhorn

James M. Hirschhorn focuses on appellate litigation, federal and state civil RICO actions, and representing regulated industries in connection with administrative and regulatory matters. On behalf of clients in the health care industry, Mr. Hirschhorn conducts administrative and appellate litigation before regulatory agencies and in the courts.

Mr. Hirschhorn is a former Director of the Division of Rate Counsel, New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate, a former Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Legal Counsel, U.S. Department of Justice and practiced in the Appellate Court Branch of the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Hirschhorn began his career as Law Clerk to Judge John D. Butzner, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and he taught Administrative Law as Associate Professor of Law, Rutgers Law School-Newark, for six years. He is Vice Chairman of the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Law Journal.
