Abraham Woubie Zewoudie

Abraham Woubie Zewoudie has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and research. Abraham Woubie is currently working as a Senior AI Scientist at Silo AI since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University from January 2020 to July 2022. Abraham Woubie also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland from November 2018 to December 2019. In 2018, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AJA.LA STUDIOS and as a Research Engineer at VERBIO. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as the Head and Lecturer of the Computer Science Department at Haramaya University from September 2011 to August 2013, and as a Graduate Assistant at the same university from September 2007 to August 2009.

Abraham Woubie Zewoudie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & IT from Arba Minch University in 2007. Abraham Woubie then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Addis Ababa University from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Abraham enrolled in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Signal Theory and Communications in 2017.
